The only way we can fund this project is by reaching out to individuals and businesses in the community. We will implement numerous fund-raising opportunities each year. We will host two events annually that will be considered “major fund-raisers”, such as a Murder Mystery Dinner Theater, an all-day music event “Woofstock”, and “Whiskey, Wine & Whiskers”, a formal dinner with silent and live auctions. We will also have numerous mailings throughout the year, including Christmas Card/Year End Donations, “Sponsor-A-Pet” opportunities, and items for sale, such as T-Shirts, calendars and more.
We will use technology to our advantage through our professional website, Facebook, Instagram, and various other on-line mediums to keep an interest and develop a following for what we do.
Our initial fundraiser will be a capital campaign to raise the startup costs for the sanctuary. We hope to secure numerous venues of support through our local community. We will be reaching out to individuals, business leaders, and entrepreneurs to raise the capital necessary to fund the startup costs needed. To this end, we have developed a sponsorship program to show our appreciation for individual and corporate sponsors who share our goals. You will not only get the satisfaction of helping those who cannot help themselves, you also get a great tax deduction to boot.
